One of the best updates that happened when Teen Mom returned as Teen Mom OG was the “breaking of the fourth wall” and the introduction of the producers to the audience. But, since becoming “cast members” of the popular reality TV series, the crew has experienced one of the major downsides — they get caught up in major drama!

And no one knows this more than Kirsten “Kiki” Malone, who works as a showrunner on the show with Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, and Farrah Abraham.

She’s worked in reality TV for a looooong time!

She graduated from NYU in 2000, and has worked in television production for many, many years since then! She previously worked on Wife Swap, but has worked with MTV since 2009, when she began working on Teen Mom. Which means she herself is truly an “OG.”

She was recently accused of giving Ryan Edwards drugs.

Shortly after Ryan returned from rehab, the show shared a scene where he is seen seemingly driving under the influence and falling asleep at the wheel. Simon Saran later said that Kiki provided Ryan with pills, but no one has confirmed or denied these rumors.

This isn’t the first time such accusations have been made; he previously alluded to Kiki providing Ryan with pills before he began his stint in rehab.

She’s Novalee Baltierra’s godmother!

It’s clear she has a special relationship with Catelynn and Tyler, as they named her as their daughter’s godmother. So sweet!

She gets name-dropped in Matt Baier’s book dedication.

Clearly she means a lot to Amber’s ex! In the dedication of his book, he wrote, “To Kiki Malone: You taught me that you can separate work and friendship. You are a true friend, and I love you, KM.”
