Khloé Kardashian is opening up about her younger brother Rob Kardashian’s struggle with depression.
Though the 31-year-old continues to support her brother — as we’ve seen on Keeping Up With the Kardashians — Khloé can’t help but feel frustrated with Rob’s lack of effort.
She tells People, “He’s a great guy,” adding, “That’s what’s so infuriating. I’m like, ‘Where is your will to live? Let’s be around people!’ But I can’t win life for Rob. I have to wait until he’s ready to get to a place where he can do it himself. It’s sad, because he’s only wasting his life more and more.”

Rob has reportedly been struggling with his weight and battling drug issues the past few years, and the reality star says that her previous split from Lamar Odom might have emotionally hurt him.
The former NBA star and sock entrepreneur were close, and Khloé admits, “Lamar was a father figure to Rob,” adding, “My dad died when he was 16. Bruce [now Caitlyn Jenner] was great, but he was going through his own things that none of us understood at the time. Once Lamar left — and it’s not Lamar’s fault at all — I think Rob didn’t know where to go. He was like, ‘I don’t have guidance anymore.’”
As Lamar continues to recover from his alleged drug overdose after being found unconscious in a brothel, we hope Rob is receiving the help he needs to turn his life around.
