Rob Kardashian Sr. died in 2003 following a battle with throat cancer — and now his daughter Khloé Kardashian is making a major claim about the turning point in his health.

Years before his death, the late attorney came under fire for defending his close friend OJ Simpson in a murder trial, in which he was found not guilty of murdering his ex Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.

“What I do respect is that [regardless of] what my dad did or didn’t know, my dad would never betray his friend’s trust,” she says in a clip for the upcoming new episode of Kocktails With Khloé.

“He never spoke about it. My dad also died of throat cancer which does not run in my family. My dad doesn’t smoke, doesn’t drink. I think holding in secrets [and] stress kills you! I feel like you manifest things, you have to think — I’m into symbolic situations.”

Guest Lisa Rinna then adds lead attorney Johnny Cochran and defense team member Robert Shapiro‘s son also passed away shortly after the trial.

The infamous case is currently being documented on FX series American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson.
