Talk about a transformation! Donald Shelton from My 600-lb Life is one of the success stories from the TLC weight loss show. In 2012, he appeared on the show weighing 675 pounds. He was unhealthy and unhappy with his weight, but thankfully, he made the necessary changes in his life in order to shed the pounds and live a healthier and happier life.

Now, he frequently posts before and after shots to his social media pages highlighting his impressive transformation. But, his journey was not an easy one. After his gastric bypass surgery, he slimmed down to 295 pounds. However, halfway into his weight loss, he was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre disease making him too weak to walk. He later gained back 200 pounds. His story didn’t end there because he was committed to lose the weight again, and finally, he did.

Donald is still in his wheelchair but he’s not letting that stop him. He is active on social media and looks to be weighing in the 200-pound range, which is definitely much better than his previous weight of over 600 pounds. He looks much more vibrant and happier in all of his photos. And clearly, his friends notice the change in him too. One friend wrote, “You look great..You are a way to show the world what determination is.” Another added, “What a transformation! It’s an amazing journey but changing your lifestyle is tough. I’m so proud of you!”

Even his Twitter bio shows how much his perspective has changed. “I am in a wheelchair but don’t let it fool u i can still do everything U wont!!!!!!!!!!!” [sic] He’s currently single and living in Texas. We hope he continues to be healthy so he can live a long and happy life!
