Kerry Washington to
Host ‘Saturday Night
Live’ For the First
Next month, Kerry Washington will be trading Washington DC for New York, where she’ll be making her Saturday Night Live debut!
It was announced Oct. 16 that the Scandal actress will be hosting the classic variety program for the first time on Nov. 2, alongside musical guest Eminem—who has performed on the show five times in the past.
Edward Norton and singer Janelle Monáe are also headed to Studio 8H; they are set to make their inaugural performances as host and musical guest, respectively, on Oct. 26.
Saturday Night Live has received a major facelift this season, which was marked by not only the departure of several beloved vets—like Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis and Fred Armisen, but also the addition of six new faces.
Despite these changes SNL received its highest ratings and most viewers since March when Miley hosted and performed on Oct. 5.
