Keith Urban is the last judge standing on American Idol.
Only minutes after the news went public that Mariah Carey has decided to leave the hit competition show, her fellow judge Nicki Minaj follow suit said goodbye, as well.
Nicki tweeted to her over 16 million followers:
Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn't trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!— Nicki Minaj (@NICKIMINAJ) May 30, 2013
But Nicki’s not the only one focusing on the music.
Mariah seems to be leaving behind a sinking ship—with Idol’s ratings at an all-time low— to embark on a world tour thanks to the major success of her hit single “Beautiful” featuring Miguel.
“The rest of this year is jam packed with Mariah putting the finishing touches on her much anticipated forthcoming album, headlining the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular and appearing in Lee Daniels' The Butler, opening in August which boasts an all-star cast,” the star’s rep Cindi Berger, tells In Touch.
But before Mariah decided to pack her bags, show veteran, Randy Jackson, also announced his departure from the show.
“After 12 years of judging on American Idol I have decided it is time to leave after this season," Randy said in a statement on May 9. "I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It's been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures."

But it doesn’t seem like Keith’s itching to follow in his fellow judges’ footsteps and hightail it off of Idol. He would love to come back if given the opportunity.
“I would, yeah,” he confirms to In Touch when asked if he'd like to remain a judge. “I mean, I literally enjoy coming to work every day and that's a rarity.”
