Ke$ha's Mom Joins Her
in Rehab and Blames
Music Producer Dr.
Luke for Daughter's
For Ke$ha, rehab is a family affair.
The "Tik Tok" singer checked herself into Timberline Knolls rehab facility in Illinois to cope with an eating disorder. Her mom, Pebe Sebert, lashed out in the media, saying that Ke$ha's music producer Dr. Luke's constant criticisms of her body and weight had caused her daughter to develop the disorder.
Now, Pebe, 57, will be joining her daughter in rehab. "I'm checking myself into Timberline Knolls today for post-traumatic stress disorder, at Ke$ha's urging," she announced. According to Pebe, Dr. Luke, who has also worked on hits with Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, and Pink, constantly commented on Ke$ha's weight and made fun of her looks. The producer has not commented on her accusations.
The mom and daughter have always been close. Pebe, whose real name is Rosemary Patricia Sebert, is a singer and songwriter with several Nashville hits to her name, and she instilled her daughter with a love of music.
The two have even collaborated professionally, with Ke$ha and her mom co-writing "Dirty Love," "Warrior," and other singles from her latest album.
