This is nothing we wouldn’t expect from John Mayer…
Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend decided to throw some shade at the country-singer-turned-pop-star within his ‘The Late Late Show’ monologue on Friday night, Feb. 6.
The 37-year-old singer jokingly stated that while he attends the Grammys this weekend, he'll probably be avoided by his 25-year-old country singer ex.

“You can see me at the Grammys doing what I do best — being avoided by Taylor Swift,” John said, adding, “That won’t make the Internet at all.”

What makes it all the more interesting is that John is reportedly back together with his on-again, off-again girlfriend Katy Perry — who happens to be in a big feud with the 25-year-old 'Blank Space' singer.
During an interview with 'Rolling Stone' last year, Taylor alleged that one of her fellow pop stars tried to "sabotage" her tour. Though she didn't name Katy, a backup dancer came forward and revealed she was talking about the brunette bombshell, who allegedly called up a bunch of dancers and asked them to leave Taylor's tour and join her 'Prismatic World Tour.'

On Taylor's comments, Katy, 30, told the January 2015 issue of 'Billboard Magazine,' "If somebody is trying to defame my character, you’re going to hear about it.”
Taylor dated John back in 2009, and infamously wrote the song 'Dear John' (hence the name) about the rocker, sending a whirlwind of media attention towards the former famous couple.
