Kate Gosselin Fuels Engagement Rumors After Sporting a Diamond Ring on Instagram

Here comes the bride? Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin just celebrated her 43rd birthday and shared a sweet message on Instagram. But, the only thing fans were really interested in was the diamond ring she was rocking on her ring finger prompting many to wonder if she's engaged — or married! She captioned her birthday post, "So, here's what 43 looks like…. sigh. My kids (and our friends) took me out to dinner AND ordered me a surprise dessert… and sang loudly to me! ?It was super fun! #BestBirthdayPresentEver ??#LoveMyFamilyAndFriends ❤️." But, fans immediately took to her comments section to point out the bling. One person said, "Do I see an engagement ring?" Another wrote, "What's the ring on RING finger?"

While Kate has actually worn this ring — or something incredibly similar to it — in the past, it didn't stop the engagement speculation. She was most recently rumored to be dating her former bodyguard, Steve Neild, but it's unclear if they are still together.

Kate quite literally busted onto the scene in 2007 on the reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8. The show documented her life with now ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, and their kids — 17-year-old twins, Madelyn and Cara and 13-year-old sextuplets, Aaden, Alexis, Hannah, Leah, Collin and, Joel. Jon and Kate got divorced in 2009 and he has since cast his doubts about the kids being on television at such a young age.

He previously told In Touch, "There is good and bad with every decision. I love my kids and I am happy they are financially taken care of, but who knows what the aftermath of filming or being famous will affect them as young adults."
