After months of going on and on and on about their plans to get hitched in Paris, A.K.A. their “second home,” it’s been reported Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are actually tying the knot in Florence, Italy. But the seemingly shocking decision finally makes sense—as the groom-to-be reveals his daughter, North, was conceived in Florence!

And, of course, he shared this fact in the most Kanye was possible—with an extremely over-the-top (albeit affectionate) metaphor.

REPORT: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to Wed in Florence, Italy—Not Paris!

“I adore Florence,” the 36-year-old tells La Nazione, a newspaper based out of Florence. “I love Italy and Italian lifestyle. To tell you truth, I already came to the banks of the Arno [river] with Kim last year, just the two of us, incognito.

“I think that our daughter North was conceived here among the Renaissance masterpieces. It was our first honeymoon. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world—for me, the most beautiful in Europe.”

When he isn’t working on his fashion—or making a baby—he’s conceiving another project. He hinted at an upcoming album called “Made in Florence,” which he is working on “in the silence of the countryside.”

“The family and the creativity relax me,” he gushes about the women in his life. “And I like to create for my family.”
