Kanye West has been named this year’s recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at MTV's Video Music Awards. The rapper will make his big speech on Aug. 30 as he is honored for his achievement in music.

The rapper is known for pushing the envelope and creating extremely controversial content — yes, we are talking about his "Bound 2" music video with his wife Kim Kardashian in which he humps her on a motorcycle.
