So sad! In a exclusive interview with In Touch, Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin — who can currently be seen on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars alongside his ex-wife, Kailyn Lowry, revealed he hoped the We TV series would help to mend their relationship. Unfortunately, the blonde beauty — who is now a mother of THREE beautiful boys — was only hoping the experience would make them better at co-parenting their three-year-old son, Lincoln.

“I kept that to myself. I told all my friends because I didn’t want to look dumb or whatnot, so I kind of told them I was going for strictly co-parenting but deep down in my heart, I really did hope or think this show and these doctors could help us out and we could get back together,” he revealed during an exclusive Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars viewing party at the Attic Rooftop & Lounge in NYC on Thursday.

Kail explained earlier that day during a Facebook Live with In Touch, “I was dead set on the divorce and like, ‘Okay, we are here to co-parent.'” However, she WAS aware that Javi may have had other ideas in mind. “That definitely comes across on the show,” she continued, “So you’ll have to watch and see how that plays out.”

Even though it has yet to be confirmed, it is speculated that while she was still attempting to resolve her issues with Javi, Kail was also dating her then-boyfriend Chris Lopez, who is now the father of Kail’s baby boy, Lux. Javi even hinted at it during an interview with Us Weekly back in February.

“Me, I went in there with open arms. I was open to the advice from the doctors and maybe we can make this marriage work. It’s easier for her to say no when you have something going on at home,” he said, hinting at Kail’s relationship with Chris. “You’ll see.”
