Kailyn Lowry is saying no — to plastic surgery, that is! The Teen Mom 2 star revealed she backed out of getting liposuction and a boob job last minute, and her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Javi Marroquin, is thrilled with her decision.

“I’m super proud of her for making that decision!” he told E! News. “I used to tell her all the time to do it naturally. Good for her. The reward will be greater in the end.”

On Jan. 23, Kail shared the news with her followers. “I won’t lie to y’all, I came to Miami for lipo & a boob job. But hours before my surgery, I decided I don’t want to go through with it,” she wrote on Twitter. “When I get home, I’ll use the money I was gonna spend on surgery for a nutritionist & get back into working out.” The mother-of-three added, “Damned if i do and damned if i don’t [sic].”

The reality star mama is no stranger to plastic surgery, though. In January 2016, she and frenemy Briana DeJesus traveled to Miami for an operation performed by Dr. Michael Salzhauer—a.k.a. Dr. Miami. “She had a tummy tuck and a Brazilian butt lift, which is a fat transfer,” the doctor said, who gained notoriety for documenting his procedures on Snapchat. “A fat transfer is where I take fat from areas of the body where you don’t want it — like your tummy, your back, your love handles — and I put it in your butt and so it does two things,” Dr. Miami continued. “You get liposuction and a nice, curvy, tiny waist — and you get a bigger booty! It’s a great operation.”

At the time, Javi defended his then-wife’s decision in a message on Twitter. “Whatever is going to make her happy, then I ride with her,” he wrote. “Feel better babe.”
