Justin Bieber is profiled in this week's issue of The Hollywood Reporter, and it's clear that the young star is looking for guidance as he grows up.
The 19-year-old shared a story about how one night, after he had just gotten back from a tour, Will showed up at his house and pulled the "Baby" singer out of bed to have a long talk about a rough period the younger celeb was going through. It touched Justin so much that he told Scooter about it later. The manager says, "He said, 'Man, that makes me feel so loved. I woke up, and there's Will Smith, one of, if not the, biggest movie stars on the planet. He took time out of his day for me.'"
Now, the singer and the movie star schedule regular weekly phone chats so that Will can continue giving Justin positive reinforcement. Will reportedly said, "'Justin's got to go through it. You can't stop him from going through it. That's youth in itself. He's a young man who's growing up, and that's what makes him interesting and relatable. Otherwise, he'd be some kind of weird robot."
Another A-lister who helps keep Justin in line is Drake. Justin says that every time there's a scandalous story about him in the news, the first person he hears from is the Canadian rapper.
"Drake is like a big brother to Justin," explains his manager. "And Justin really looks up to Drake. They have an extremely special relationship."
