Joy-Anna and Austin decided to break away from tradition and they saw each other in a private moment before the wedding ceremony — which is different than most grooms, who have to wait until their bride starts to walk down the aisle for a glimpse at their future wife. But that wasn’t the only thing that was slightly shocking — Joy-Anna and Austin were originally set to tie the knot in October 2017, but they secretly moved the wedding up four months in advance and many fans think that it’s because they broke courtship rules and had sex before marriage.
The couple seemed to add fuel to those rumors when they announced that Joy-Anna was pregnant with baby No. 1 in August. Their announcement came three months after they tied the knot, and fans pointed out that Joy-Anna’s baby bump looked like she was at least three months along at the time of the announcement, which would mean she got pregnant before they tied the knot.

But earlier this month, Joy shared a baby bump update and gave a hint at her due date, which seems to put the rumors of a shotgun wedding to rest. On Oct. 2, she shared a photo of her bump and revealed that her baby was the size of a bell pepper which means she was roughly 18 weeks pregnant, which means she conceived in June.
