Joy-Anna Duggar Announces She Is Pregnant With Baby No. 1
Well that didn’t take very long! Just months after exchanging vow on May 26, Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth revealed that they’re expecting their first child!
“We’re so happy and thankful to announce that we’re expecting a baby,” Joy told People. “Every child is such a precious gift from God. I’m most looking forward to watching Austin as a dad and raising children together with him.”
It’s clear that the father-to-be is over the moon about the news as well. He gushed, “I’m really looking forward to the journey of this pregnancy and all the different stages it will bring. It’s really exciting and I feel so blessed to be a dad! We are beyond thankful!”
The Duggars famously don’t believe in contraception of any form — the family matriarch, Michelle, has explained that she was on birth control after the birth of her oldest child, Josh, but became pregnant. Not long into the pregnancy, she learned she lost the baby — and the reality TV family has always believed that the birth control was to blame for the miscarriage. As such, many are wondering if Joy, 19, will have follow in her parents’ footsteps and have a big family of her own!

“We want as many as the Lord thinks we can handle,” she previously gushed. “And we are putting it into His hands.”
The pregnancy likely won’t come as a surprise to many Duggar fans; earlier this summer, Joy’s father, Jim-Bob, hinted that she may have already been with child. Check out the video to see what he revealed at the time!
