Joy-Anna Duggar Marries Austin Forsyth in Surprise Ceremony — Find out Details About Her Big Day!

Joy-Anna Duggar’s wedding day came sooner than everyone expected! The 19-year-old is now married to her fiancé, Austin Forsyth — and fans will get to watch them exchange vows on TV! The pair said “I do” on Friday, May 26, 2017, in her native state of Arkansas.

"What an absolutely wonderful day our family will always treasure. As parents, we could not be more grateful for the godly woman Joy has become, and the loving husband she married! We love you, Joy and Austin and are so happy for you both, as you embark on this exciting journey together!" her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar wrote in a blog post on the Duggar Family's official website.

“I don’t even know all of how it feels to be husband and wife — so far it’s incredible,” Joy-Anna told TLC in a special wedding announcement. “Saying our vows and saying ‘I do’ and committing our lives to each other is so incredible. I’m so blessed to be married to him.”
“I’m just looking forward to getting to share my life — its good times and its challenges — with my best friend. Having someone there to love me and support me and always be there for me,” Austin said.

Joy has been eager to share her excitement for her wedding since getting engaged earlier this year.
Austin — who has been a long-time family friend of the Duggar’s — took Joy horseback riding to a spot special to the couple when it came time to get down on one knee. The proposal came after several months of courting, which means dating with the intention of marriage.
But it looks like they couldn't wait to tie the knot, and rumors started swirling about their secret May wedding date after Duggar Family News revealed that they were planning to move the wedding date up by five months.

Now that the wait is over, the newlyweds are so excited to embark on this new journey together!
“We just got engaged! I’m so excited to be engaged to my best friend — Austin made it so romantic, it’s amazing,” Joy gushed at the time. The groom-to-be added, “I’m just overwhelmed with emotion. I’m so excited to see what the future holds for us!”
Fans will get to watch their nuptials in a special wedding episode, airing June 12 on TLC.
