Shortly after Josh Duggar confessed to cheating on his wife, Anna, he checked into rehab at a faith-based facility, called Reformers Unanimous, which was founded by the North Love Baptist Church.

However, a new report by Radar Online suggests his treatment may not be all that effective, considering it is heavily influenced by the teachings of Bill Gothard — who not only established the strict homeschooling curriculum practiced by the Duggars, but also ran the “counseling” facility where Josh was sent as a teenager after he molested five young women, including four of his sisters.

“All staff members and deacons in [North Love] church were required to attend Bill Gothard’s seminars,” former North Love practitioner and teacher Dan Parsons tells Radar.

“The church very much supported him.”

The entire Duggar clan was close with Gothard, who founded the Institute in Basic Life Principles, until last year, when the 80-year-old resigned as President of the Institute after more than 30 women accused him of sexual harassment.

When the 27-year-old confirmed he molested five young women, he released a statement, which read, “My parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”

Despite his claims insisting otherwise, it would appear Josh did not learn his lesson following his 2003 stint at Gothard’s Little Rock Training Center, where he did physical labor rather than work with licensed professionals.

Shortly after he was named as one of the alleged users of Ashley Madison, a site aimed at people in monogamous relationships looking to have affairs, porn star Danica Dillon came forward and shared details of her “terrifying” sexual encounter with the father-of-four.

“I hid my phone under a pillow with the screen up, just in case I had to hit 911,” Danica told In Touch Weekly.

They had sex again, “and he was gentler, but he was still grabbing my hair and calling me names. He was being verbally abusive, but more physically gentle,” she explained. “We didn’t use a condom.”
