Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta have teamed up again for some good old fashioned singing and dancing— but this time, their collaboration isn’t exactly of highly acclaimed Grease status.
The duo recently recorded a collection of holiday tunes for the album This Christmas, which features their new song “I Think I Might Like It.” A quirky music video for the holiday single has finally been released and it’s definitely generating some buzz.
“I Think You Might Like It? No, I Think I Might Hate It,” one fan reacted to the music video, which pays homage to John and Olivia’s roles as Danny and Sandy in the 1978 hit. Another fan adds, “And the winner for best performance in this video goes to: THE CAR!!”
And while some are saying the pair's new project has completely ruined Grease for an entire generation, not everyone (but almost everyone) thinks their collaboration is atrocious.
“I love John Travolta and I loved Grease so this made me smile!!” a fan posted on the video’s official YouTube page, with another adding, “One of the greatest holiday songs of all-time! Newton-John and Travolta deliver pure Christmas magic.”
To be honest, we’re not even sure how to sum up this video…you’ll just have to watch for yourselves and weigh in.
