Although Joe Jonas might be working across the world right now — filming the new series of The Voice Australia — his legal woes in the states have got people talking. The DNCE singer is being sued for negligence by a woman who said she was injured in 2016 after her vehicle was struck by Joe's Audi A6 in LA. Joe's assistant was actually driving the car at the time and made the left turn at an intersection proceeding to crash into the woman.

TMZ reporting the woman's lawyer, Gerald Marcus, ran the license plates to confirm that the vehicle belonged to Joe, which it did, however, it is unclear if Joe was in the car at the time of the crash.

Despite no witnesses or police report filed for the incident, the woman is still claiming that she was injured — mentally and physically — and wants to be compensated for her unwanted medical bills and lost earnings as well.

Joe nor his reps have commented on the ordeal. Unfortunately, this isn't the only drama Joe is currently dealing with as a potential thief was caught on his property last week in San Fernando Valley, CA.

The criminal tried to get into Joe's pad but thankfully, his home security system scared the person — who bolted from the scene — after he accidentally set the alarm off while trying to fiddle with the surveillance cameras. TMZ reported that Joe's team was notified immediately and went over to check on the house where nothing was reported stolen or missing.
