Joe Jackson suffered a stroke on Sunday in Brazil while celebrating his 87th birthday, followed by three more heart attacks when he entered the hospital.
The father of the late Michael Jackson — who is still under intensive care at this time — has his family fearing the worst, with Katherine Jackson claiming he is “on the verge of death.”

Another source tells Radar Online, “The reports that say he is doing fine and he is getting better are sadly exaggerated.”
It was reported on Monday that Joe was having a pacemaker implemented in hopes of stabilizing his irregular heartbeat. He also lost his vision after an artery behind his eye burst, possibly triggering the stroke.

“The family is rushing to be by his side right now. The entire family is devastated,” Jackson family friend Sham Ibrahim told the site. “Joe Jackson and Katherine, especially Joe, is the glue that holds the family together and he has been for years.”

Sham also points out that over the years, Joe has made amends with his children.
“They realized that their father was just a human being doing the best that they can,” he explains. “All of Joe’s children have nothing but love for their father and I think that is so important if he passes.”
Our thoughts are with Joe’s loved ones during this difficult time.
