Has the table finally flipped on this marriage? Teresa Giudice’s marriage to husband Joe Giudice has reportedly ran its course. According to Us Weekly, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 45, has been seriously considering leaving Joe, 45, as he serves a 41-month prison sentence for conspiracy and bankruptcy fraud.

“The marriage may be over,” a source said of the couple, who are set to mark their 18th wedding anniversary this October. The insider went on to explain that Teresa — who completed her own 11-month prison sentence for fraud in December 2015 — has reveled in her freedom without Joe around. “She’s loving her independence,” said the source. “She’s becoming used to being quite free while Joe is away at prison.”

The Standing Strong author used to lean heavily on her mom, Antonia Gorga, when Joe went to jail. But after Antonia’s passing in March, the source said Teresa realized she was “still standing,” adding that the mom-of-four has “learned she doesn’t need Joe.”

The insider also noted that Tre actually enjoys spending time alone with the couple’s daughters, Gia, 16, Gabriella, 12, Milania, 11, and Audriana, 7. “Teresa keeps them busy so they’re distracted,” said the source. “They have adjusted to life without Dad in the house.”

As RHONJ fans are well aware, Teresa and Joe’s marriage has long been plagued with rumors of infidelity — which both parties have vehemently denied in the past. However, Us Weekly’s source said that Teresa is starting to rethink Joe’s faithfulness. “He’s always said this particular person was just a friend,” said the insider, “but now Teresa thinks there’s more to the relationship.”

Aside from cheating rumors, Teresa’s relationship with Joe hit an all-time low after he infamously called her a “c–t” on-camera in 2012. The reality star opened up about how the comment affected her marriage during a June 2013 appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

“You’re only seeing a small part of our life. Last season — it’s not that we weren’t in a good place,” she said at the time. “We weren’t in a good place with the family and he would take it out on me and that’s what a wife’s all about.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey returns to Bravo for its eighth season on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 9 p.m. EST.
