While a judge decides whether or not Joe and Teresa Giudice will move into the big house, it appears the couple are downsizing—as a source close to them reveals they have listed their Jersey Shore vacation home.
This comes just one week after they put their main residence in Montvale, N.J. on the market at $4 million.
On Oct. 2, the Real Housewives of New Jersey stars will appear in front of a judge at a sentencing to determine their fates. Both husband and wife face time behind bars as they previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud in March.
As they prepare for the sentencing, the source close to the Giudices says the four-bedroom home will be listed in “the low $300,000”—and the profits will go to a good cause.
“The sale of the house will give Joe and Teresa money to pay off some creditors, and give them some cash,” the insider says.
“It was a very tough decision for Teresa to decide to sell the house. Knowing this would be their last summer at the beach house was bittersweet for her, but she knew it had to be done.”
Well, props to the Giudices for doing the right thing—and actually helping themselves for a change!
