Joan Rivers isn’t the first celebrity death that is bringing some unwanted attention to Dr. Gwen Korovin.
In Touch Weekly has exclusively learned that Joan's ear, nose and throat doctor was subpoenaed when John Ritter’s family sued a hospital and several doctors for wrongful death after he died of an aortic dissection in 2003.
“She, or people close to her, refused to accept service of the subpoena,” a source explains to In Touch, on newsstands now. “She claimed she never treated Ritter. The lawyers dropped it and never sent another subpoena.”
