Happy Friday! Here’s a New Pic of Jinger Duggar Wearing Pants Because You Deserve It
It’s Friday. The sun is shining. Jinger Duggar is wearing pants. And life is pretty damn good. TLC recently published a sneak peek for this summer’s new season of Counting On, and we are STOKED. Not only do we get to witness Joe and Kendra announcing they’re expecting but we also get to find out how Ben and Jessa keep their spark alive. #Blessed. But TBH, we’re most excited about the fact that Jing is now wearing pants on the reg.
In the clip, the 24-year-old and her (hot AF) soccer hunk, Jeremy Vuolo, picked up their friends from the airport, but Jinger wasn’t rockin’ one of those infamous floor-length skirts. Instead, the now pregnant star opted for a pair of black jeans with a stylish fitted jacket and cute bag.
Of course, this wasn’t the first time the reality star went against patriarch Jim Bob‘s strict rules. These days, the soon-to-be mom is sporting heels, sneakers, and yes, even a mini skirt! But that wasn’t always the case.
Previously, JB’s conservative daughter opened up about why they once shied away from showing too much skin. “We do not dress modestly because we are ashamed of the body God has given us; quite the contrary,” she wrote in the 2014 book Growing Up Duggar alongside her sisters Jill, Jana, and Jessa. “We realize that our body is a special gift from God and that He intends for it to be shared only with our future husband. We avoid low-cut, cleavage-showing, gaping, or bare-shouldered tops; and when needed, we were an undershirt. We try to make it a habit to always cover the top of our shirt with our hand when we bend over. We don’t want to play the peek-a-boo game with our neckline.” Welp, those days are certainly long gone! And we are living. For. It.
Apparently, fans are too! “Jinger is a married adult woman now. I am happy to see her come out from under her parent thumbs,” one person wrote on Facebook about her new style. Another added, “Love it!!!! She standing up for her self and I don’t blame her,” while a third chimed in, “She has style and married a man with culture and style. Go, Jinger. You are my favorite Duggar and I am glad you break the mold.”
