Jimmy Fallon never met a musical interlude he didn't love, but for Thanksgivingukkah he took it to a whole new level.
For the Thanskgiving/Hanukkah holiday intersection, the late night host brought pals Rashida Jones and Carrie Underwood on to sing remixed versions of some of the year's biggest hit songs, like Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," with the lyrics changed to be about the season. Lorde's megahit "Royals" turned into Hanukkah anthem "Dreidels," while inescapable summer single "Blurred Lines" was converted into a song about waiting in crazy Black Friday shopping lines. Katy Perry's "Roar" also made an appearance.
However, the highlight of the medley was a standalone Carrie number. The country star did her best Miley Cyrus impression, singing in front of a screen covered in cat pictures a la Miley's recent performance at the AMAs. "Wrecking Ball" turned into a tune about a lazy husband who didn't help with cooking Thanksgiving dinner and passed out on the couch while watching football instead. The audience loved the "Sound of Music" star's hilarious take on the song, and this time there was absolutely zero twerking included!
