Jim Bob Duggar Can’t Believe Daughter Jana is 28 Years Old and Still Single
ICYMI, Jana Duggar just turned 28 years old (which, as we know, is 68 in Duggar years) on Friday, Jan. 12, and to celebrate the occasion, her father, Jim Bob Duggar, is reminding the world that she’s single AF.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, the Counting On patriarch, 52, made an appearance at Kilsyth South Baptist Church Kilsyth South, Victoria, Australia over the weekend — where he candidly spoke about his eldest daughter’s lack of a love life.
“And Jana is — actually, back in the US, it’s her birthday,” he reportedly said. “Jana is 28 years old and still single, so she’s still praying about [finding] The One.” Ouch. OK, Jim Bob. You may have taught your girls that their sole purpose in life is to get hitched and procreate, but we bet Jana will be just fine with or without a husband and children.
As fans are well aware, Jana has been linked to a handful of men over the years. Most recently, she was rumored to be dating family friend Caleb Williams. Back in September, he was spotted in a photo with Jana and her famous family. Even though the two were seated at opposite ends of the table in the pic, fans were quick to speculate that the two were officially courting.
But, on Jan. 4, Caleb insisted that he and Jana are not an item. “Now to clear the fog and avoid any confusion: Read my lips… I am not dating Jana Duggar,” he wrote on social media, sounding particularly annoyed with the gossip.
In 2014, Jana was even linked to former NFL hunk (and fellow devout Christian) Tim Tebow after her parents met his mom, Pam. But a rep for the athlete, however, claimed the two “have never even met.” TBH, we can’t help but admire Jana for going against the Duggar grain and putting off marriage for as long as she has. Rock on, girl! ?
