Oh no… Jill Zarin recently lost her beloved husband, Bobby, to cancer. Then, just as the former Real Housewives of New York City star was trying to start healing, she reveals to In Touch that she nearly lost her beloved dog, Ginger, too.

“She fell in the pool when she was outside,” Jill explains. “She’s 14 and going blind and didn’t see it.”

Luckily, Jill, 54, who was at her home in Boca Raton, FL, spotted the Chihuahua paddling for her life and rescued her in time. “I wrapped her in a towel and rushed her to the vet. She had a 94-degree temperature, hypothermia. So they immediately started to warm her up, and she got better,” Jill says, breathing a sigh of relief. “I don’t know how much more I can take!”

But Ginger is OK now. “I’m so relieved,” Jill tells In Touch.
