Have our standards dropped too low? Counting On fans were gushing over Jill Duggar for doing something literally every good parent does for a child: making him wear a helmet while riding a bike. Somebody give her the Parent of the Year award.

“Today is warm enough that we had to get some time outside before it’s cold again tomorrow!” wrote Jill alongside several photos of son Israel wearing roller skates and learning to ride a bike with controversial dad Derick Dillard. She also included the hashtags “#israeldaviddillard” and “#bestpapa.” However, the most notable part of the pics was Israel’s helmet, which looks like the character Chase from children’s show Paw Patrol.

“Love the Paw Patrol helmet, my daughter would love it,” said one fan. Another agreed that it was cute, writing, “no battles to get him to wear a helmet when it’s an awesome Paw Patrol helmet! He is getting so big already!” Other fans made sure to praise Jill for putting a helmet on him in general, with one writing, “glad you’ve got him all geared up! Our brains our precious ?,” and another saying, “yayyy for being sure he’s wearing a helmet! So important!”

It may seem weird that fans are being so vocally supportive of Jill putting a helmet on her kid, but she has gotten herself in some hot water for not choosing appropriate headgear for her boys in the past. For example, last summer she brought the boys to a farm, and many fans were upset that baby Samuel didn’t have any sort of hat or bonnet to protect him from the sun. However, she did place a tortilla on his head for one photo. Thank goodness she didn’t opt for a tortilla instead of a helmet!
