Jill Duggar, one of the many stars of 19 Kids and Counting lives a relatively traditional lifestyle. That said, her relationship with fiancé Derick Dillard is nothing short of a modern love story.
They were introduced by her father, Jim Bob, after the 25-year-old contacted the reality TV patriarch while doing missionary work in Nepal. The father-of-19 immediately felt the young man would hit it off with his 22-year-old daughter, so he introduced them over Skype.
And now, Jill reveals she “grilled” her husband-to-be during that initial conversation—and shared the questions that helped her know he was even worth courting!
“It was an interrogation,” she tells People of the three pages of questions she had prepared for their conversation. “I didn’t want to not have the guts to ask the tough questions.”
She says she asked Derick about his relationship with God, whether he drank or smoked, his character, morals and values, his plans for the future, and how many kids he wants (Jill has said they both want "as many kids as God will give us").

In an earlier interview, she explained she “was really impressed with his character” after that initial conversation, and was pleasantly surprised to learn they had similar ambitions.
It was until last November the couple met in person—but she already knew she was in love.
“We got to know each other in the first few months pretty quickly,” she said. “I was in love with someone I had never met in person, but we really knew each other well.”
