The Counting On star recently sparked rumors she was pregnant after her husband, Derick Dillard, posted a photo of what looks like a baby bump on Instagram. “You can see a bump under her shirt,” one person wrote in the comments. Earlier this week, the mother-of-two and her hubby came under fire for leaving their youngest son, Samuel, on the floor while they ate. “How about a carrier or swing — something besides the dirty floor?” one person commented. “I would have never done that to either of my children.” Another added, “Jill enjoys procreating, but once the baby is born, she’s not interested in the least in the actual parenting.”
Recently, the 26-year-old showed hints of breaking free of her family’s strict, conservative rules when she stepped out wearing pants — and earlier this week she showed off a nose piercing! Her rebellion comes on the heels of news that Derick was fired by TLC for his hateful words about the network’s star, Jazz Jennings, who is transgender. After countless, hate-fueled tweets about how being transgender is a “falsehood,” TLC decided to part ways with Derick and revealed that he will no longer be featured on Counting On.
“We want to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months and the network has no plans to feature him in the future,” the network said in a statement. “We want to reiterate that Derick’s personal statements do not reflect the views of the network. TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so.”
