Things aren’t exactly sailing smoothly for Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard, who are currently on a family mission trip down in Central America.
Jill — who is pregnant with her second child — posted an update on their family blog, and asked for prayers for her, Derick, and their two-year-old son Israel’s health.

In her blog, she asked for people to pray for “continued health."
She explained, "We have been dealing with seasonal allergies as the shift from the ‘dry season’ to ‘rainy season’ is beginning.”
This is Jill and Derick’s second mission trip to Central America, and when it was revealed they were returning while Jill is pregnant (she’s not due until July), she was met with a lot of criticism from Counting On fans because of the presence of Zika Virus in El Salvador, where the Dillards are staying.

“After returning home for a short period, we are excited to announce that we are now returning to Central America! We are excited to be back to the work our hearts love so much,” they wrote in February.

She continued, “From the early stages of our lives, the Lord has put a deep love and care in both of our hearts for all peoples of the world that they would come to repentance and out their hope in the Lord, Jesus Christ. Through our ministry and your support, we can help support local churches, and impact hundreds of lives on a daily basis. Once a week, we go into villages hit hard by violence, and provide various skills training for adults, Bible study, kids programs, and crafts. On average, we help over 40 adults and children every week.”
Hopefully Derick, Izzy, Jill, and the baby are staying safe and healthy!
