We saw this coming! Former Counting On stars Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard made the cut for worst celebrity couples of 2017 — according to Mommyish — and we can't say we're too surprised. The controversial couple got the boot from TLC after Derick made some unkind remarks about Jazz Jennings, and in November, the network confirmed they severed ties with the anti-trans TV exile.

"We want to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months and the network has no plans to feature him in the future," TLC said in a statement at the time. "We want to reiterate that Derick’s personal statements do not reflect the views of the network. TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so."

Unfortunately, that's not the only reason the duo claimed the top spot. Derick and the rest of the Duggars have long relied on their fans' donations, especially for their ministry work. In November, they asked for money again, even though they'd just shut down Dillard Family Ministries a few months before — which they'd also used to ask fans for their hard-earned cash. All the requests for dollars even prompted one fan to ask, "Get a job yet?" Derick couldn't seem to stop himself from responding.

"Funny, I've worked full-time salaried job/school, non-stop for the past 23 years… you might want to check your sources," he responded to a fan on Twitter.
