Do Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard miss the spotlight? According to some fans, the answer is yes! The former Counting On stars post on social media often, and now many are speculating that it's because they miss being the center of attention.

"So it's official that the Dillards are missing the limelight…" one person wrote on reddit alongside an Instagram live video of Derick with his family at the park. Another added, "These two LOVE the spotlight, they're trying so hard to remain relevant and in the public eye."

Of course, the couple only seems to be getting negative press these days. Back in November, TLC announced they had given Derick the axe — and Jill was going with him! "We want to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months and the network has no plans to feature him in the future," TLC said in a statement. "We want to reiterate that Derick's personal statements do not reflect the views of the network. TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so."

In August, Derick decided that it was a good idea to attack 16-year-old trans advocate and fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings in an offensive Twitter rant. "What an oxymoron… a 'reality' show which follows a non-reality," he said of Jazz's reality show, I Am Jazz. "'Transgender' is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it's ordained by God."

He later claimed that he has nothing against Jazz — even though he referred to her using the incorrect pronoun. "I want to be clear. I have nothing against him. I only have issue with the words and definitions being propagated here," he tweeted, which inspired angry reactions from fans. "You mean her. Use the right pronoun if you have no issue," one wrote, while another fumed, "He's a grown man attacking a child! He's being a bully!" Whatever happened to if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all?
