Not long after Jessica Castro and Ryan De Nino tied the knot on A&E’s controversial reality show Married at First Sight, things went terribly wrong and she is now fearing for her and her family’s lives.

In a shocking tape, which was played for In Touch by a source close to Jessica, Ryan seems to threaten to kill her and her family. It also explains exactly why she filed for a restraining order against Ryan in June. “I should smack the s— out of you. I will break you into f—ing pieces. I will make your whole family disappear,” Ryan is heard saying.

But Jessica isn’t the only one who felt threatened. In Touch has exclusively learned that a divorce lawyer hired for Ryan by the show dropped out in October because of Ryan’s behavior.

And the drama doesn't stop there.

According to an email sent to show producer Jason Watters and others by paralegal Soraya Balbin, Ryan threw a “tantrum” during their meeting to discuss the divorce, then “became even more violent, and two of my attorneys had to … check on my safety,” Balbin wrote in the missive obtained by the mag.

When she asked Ryan to leave, “He got even more defensive and furious. I have never been talked to the way he talked to me,” says Balbin.

And Marc Rapaport, Castro's lawyer, revealed that he believes A&E and the show’s production company, Kinetic Content, should be held accountable. Even though he was supposedly screened by producers before being cast, Balbin, the paralegal, learned that De Nino isn’t even his real last name — it’s Oehl — and says a “paranoid” Ryan refused to show her his ID, the magazine has learned.

When asked for comment, Ryan directed In Touch to his new lawyer, who did not return calls. However, in the past, Ryan has said he’s “disgusted” with her allegations.

“We are considering potential claims against the production company and network,” Rapaport tells. “We believe that in the quest for ratings, our client’s emotional well-being and physical safety were jeopardized.”
