Even though Jennifer Lopez just ended her seemingly serious courtship with the rapper, In Touch can exclusively reveal that her new relationship with Yankees star Alex Rodriguez has been a long time coming!

A source close to the couple confirmed that the baseballer has been “obsessed” with the “Booty” songstress “for well over a decade.”
“But he always had a girlfriend, and that bothered her. She didn’t know if she could trust him,” the source said.
This romance comes on the heels of her breakup with Drake, which came as a result of his “sabotaging” of the relationship.

“She’s done having babies. But Drake’s at a point in his life where he wants it all, a hot partner and the kids. It’s causing problems,” a source told In Touch. “He’s trying to sabotage the relationship. He’s been blowing up J.Lo’s phone.”
Well, the mother-of-two certainly isn’t hesitating to move on!
“She used to think he was a bit creepy because [Alex] would show up backstage at her Vegas show and stop by the set of Shades of Blue,” added the source. “But she decided to give him a chance. They have this crazy-hot chemistry!”
Though Alex has had his fair share of ladies over the years, the source is sure that he hasn’t tried to hide his affection for Jenny from the Block!
“It’s always been obvious that he was extremely into Jennifer,” the source said.
