Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are on the hunt for their East Coast home in the Big Apple. A source close to the couple tells In Touch, on newsstands now, that Justin “has been looking at apartments for them downtown,” and that they have only been to “super high-end places.” One of the luxe buildings Justin recently checked out was a $2 million duplex at the former NYC Police Headquarters building, which went residential in 1983.
NEWS: Jennifer Aniston to Take Justin Theroux's Last Name But despite the pad’s lavish amenities, including full-time concierge service, Justin ultimately realized the 1,700-square-foot home wasn’t the ideal second home for him and his 44-year-old bride-to-be, who are in the midst of renovating their new $21 million dream home in LA’s swanky Bel Air neighborhood. “The unit is on the first floor and faces the street,” a real estate source tells In Touch. “There just wasn’t enough privacy for them.” Justin will have to find something pretty impressive to compare to Jen’s $6.5 million NYC apartment she unloaded in 2012, the same year the couple got engaged.
Perhaps the pair, who are due to tie the knot any day now, will both be Therouxs by the time they settle on a posh New York pad!
