There's about to be another Teen Mom 2 cast shakeup! In the fallout from MTV firing Jenelle Evans' husband David Eason after he went on a homophobic and transphobic rant on Twitter, there are now rumors that claim the network was thinking about firing Jenelle as well. Sources say that there was talk about removing Jenelle from the popular reality TV series and possibly replacing her with Teen Mom 3 alum Mackenzie McKee.

"Mackenzie is filming a short special right now. MTV has wanted to continue with her story for a while. They want to bring her back," a source revealed to Radar Online. "This is a test for her, but she may be the one who replaces Jenelle if the network fires her."

Mackenzie was first introduced to viewers on her episode of 16 and Pregnant, and she went on to star in the first and only season of Teen Mom 3. After the show was canceled, Mackenzie continued to document her life and share her story with her followers on social media, and if she were to return to the Teen Mom franchise, she already has a built-in storyline.

After getting pregnant as a teenager, Mackenzie became a mom at a young age. But her story is different from most other teen mom stories because she is still with her baby daddy Josh McKee and the couple is now married and they are parents of two children now. Since the cameras stopped rolling, Mackenzie started working on building her brand as a fitness model and she is currently working on her own online personal training program and she also gives fans regular updates on her mom Angie Douthit, who is currently battling brain cancer.

This isn't the first time Mackenzie has sparked rumors about a return to the Teen Mom franchise. Last week, rumors swirled and claimed that Mackenzie would be replacing Farrah Abraham on Teen Mom OG.
