Jenelle Evans and Her Husband David Eason May Be Headed to ‘Marriage Boot Camp’ (REPORT)
Thank the reality TV gods! Jenelle Evans and her husband David Eason may be headed to Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. WE tv is reportedly begging the Teen Mom 2 couple to join the cast of the upcoming season with negotiations going on for about a month. However, so far Jenelle and David have been turning the network down.
“WE has been hardcore negotiating with them for the last few weeks, but Jenelle and David have already turned down three offers,” a source told The Ashley Reality Roundup. “They keep saying no but WE keeps offering them more money.” The insider explained how Jenelle and her hubby of less than one year have been offered more than the standard $50,000 salary — and it still wasn’t enough.
“They are going to start shooting the next season in about two weeks,” the source added. “Jenelle and David would be gone for about 10 days, give or take, if they signed on.” If they did decide to join the cast, Jenelle, 26, and David would definitely bring the drama.
David, 29, was recently fired from MTV after he made transphobic and homophobic comments on social media. Both have also dealt with custody battles over their kids from previous relationships, several gun controversies, and Jenelle’s recent confession about doing drugs while pregnant with their now one-year-old daughter Ensley. And who can forget how the couple almost called off their wedding just a few hours before Jenelle was supposed to walk down the aisle?
However, despite it all, Jenelle, who is also mom to sons Jace, 8, and Kaiser, 3, and David, who has a nine-year-old daughter from his first marriage, have stuck by each other’s side through the split rumors. “David didn’t understand how offensive people would get or how Twitter even works,” she said following his termination. “Now that he realizes his voice is very strong within media/tabloids he has deactivated his account. He agrees he will keep his comments to himself from now on.”
Past Teen Mom stars who have taken their relationship struggles to boot camp include Farrah Abraham, Amber Portwood, and exes Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed.
