MTV fired Jenelle Evans’ husband, David Eason, from Teen Mom 2 after he attacked the LGBTQ community in a string of hateful tweets in February — and, in response, the reality TV starlet pulled their 14-month-old daughter, Ensley, from filming the long-running series. While MTV continues to decide if Jenelle, 26, will remain on TM2, she’s reportedly hired a legal team to help her navigate a potential termination.

A source recently told Radar Online that “Jenelle hired an entertainment lawyer to negotiate with MTV, but the network wasn’t giving in to any of her demands.” One of her alleged demands? Apparently, the Wilmington, NC, resident told MTV that she wouldn’t allow producers to film on her property unless the network paid her a substantial fee.

“MTV shot that down. No one wanted to film on Jenelle’s property because they were all disgusted by David. And all of the guns are unacceptable too, people are afraid of what David could do,” the insider told the website, adding that “MTV was not going to pay Jenelle extra to film.”

The source also claimed that Jenelle made an attempt to convince MTV to rehire David, but higher-ups at the Viacom-owned company turned down that request, too. In fact, the network is still unsure if they want to continue to work with Jenelle — who defended David after his controversial tweets made headlines last month — at all. “MTV still hasn’t given Jenelle a date for when or even if filming would start with her again,” the insider told Radar Online. “She could still be fired from the show.”
