Jenelle Evans Just Proved She’s Finally Getting Along With Mom Babs With a New Instagram Pic Together!

Do our eyes deceive us?! Jenelle Evans has been estranged from her mom Barbara Evans ever since she got with David Eason. In fact, things got so bad that Babs has custody of her son Jace, and didn’t even get invited to the Teen Mom 2 star’s wedding! Well, it looks like that family feud is all in the past now, because on Aug. 23 they finally posed for a photo together. Check out the video above to see their sweet photo.

Fans were flabbergasted when Jenelle took to Instagram to post a photo with the caption, “‘Whatever makes him happy.’ ?? #FamilyTime #IceCream #Yogurt #CoolingOff.” In one photo she’s sweetly hugging her son, and in the next, she and estranged mom Barb are on either side of the adorable nine-year-old with their arms wrapped around each other… and everyone is smiling! 

“Jace deserves to be happy and it’s great to see you getting along with your mom,” said one thrilled fan, and dozens more agreed. “Well done ur finally doing the right thing good he sees u together,” said another, while a third said, “this just made my heart so damn happy girl! Small steps and progress are so worth it! ❤️?.”

The sweet photo came just one week after Jenelle said that David and Barb had begun working on their relationship. “Guess who gets along now? Babs and David. That took forever,” Jenelle tweeted. She followed up saying, “She notice dhe’s very ‘handy’ and appreciates that. So far so good!” It’s unclear if David came along for the ice cream trip, but we’re just happy to see baby steps here!
