It looks like Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans just can’t escape the custody battles these days. After Jenelle’s newborn daughter Ensley allegedly tested positive for marijuana at the time of her birth back in January, a new report claimed that Jenelle’s mother Barbara Evans — who has primary custody of Jenelle’s son Jace — banned Jenelle from seeing her son.

But it looks like that ban has been lifted because Jenelle took to Instagram on Saturday, Sept. 16 to share a photo of all three of her children — eight-year-old son Jace, three-year-old son Kaiser, and eight-month-old daughter Ensley — spending time together at a fall festival. “All of momma’s ducklings,” the 25-year-old wrote in the caption.

Jenelle and Barbara went head to head in court back in May because Jenelle wanted full custody of Jace. But a judge ordered that Barbara — who raised Jace since he was an infant — should have full, primary custody of Jenelle’s son and the court set a visitation schedule in place for Jenelle, which inlcudes weekends, holidays, and summers, according to E! News. Barbara can no longer hold Jace from Jenelle, and if she does, she would be held in contempt of court for violating the court-ordered visitation agreement.

Barbara confirmed that prior to the custody hearing, she did ban Jenelle from seeing Jace. The ban took place shortly after Ensley’s birth, when she was informed about Ensley’s drug testing and the CPS investigation that followed, which came to light after Jenelle’s ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith’s mother Doris filed for emergency custody of Jenelle’s other son Kaiser earlier month.“That’s a fact,” Babs said to Radar Online. “I have Jace, so when something like that happens, they contact me.”

This bombshell explains why Barbara held Jace from Jenelle in the months leading up to the court date for their custody hearing — and it came to a head when Babs refused to let Jenelle see Jace on Mother’s Day. “That’s the reason we were going to court,” she told the outlet. “I can’t send him over there when that’s happened [Ensley testing positive for drugs]. I don’t want to put him in that atmosphere.”

Though the news of the drug test was only just publicized, Barbara said that she’s known from the beginning. “I knew all along [about Ensley] and never exposed it until the day of court in May,” she said. “And the baby was born in January. All that time I never opened my mouth.”

Barbara also revealed that she’s been barred from seeing her other grandchildren, Kaiser and Ensley. “I can’t see either one of them. She did that a long time ago. Same situation,” she said. “She won’t let me see them. Then she says to me ‘You don’t want to see your grandkids,’ but I told her ‘Last week you told me you would have me arrested if you came on your property.’”

Though it was alleged that Jenelle worked hard to have the drug test and subsequent investigation not appear on the show, Barbara hopes that her side of the story will come out. “I’m very curious if MTV will air the footage of me from the day I went to court with Jenelle,” she said. “After court I was talking to one of her girlfriends, Jamie…I said, ‘If you people only knew this true story. This is not about me or her, this is about Jace’s life.’ They filmed that.”

Jenelle has denied the rumors and insisted that she deserves to keep her kids, but mom Barbara is telling a different story. “You should not be smoking weed when you’re pregnant,” she said. “She was friggin’ stoned the whole time [she was pregnant with Jace.] I don’t care what it is. It is illegal. She is irresponsible.”
