It looks like things are finally good between Javi Marroquin and his ex-wife Kailyn Lowry. Fans got to see a different side of the airman during the Teen Mom 2 special Being Javi, and even though the episode was filmed while there was a whole mess of drama going on between him, Kail, and his then-girlfriend and fellow TM2 co-star Briana DeJesus, he is able to look back at the situation now with a clearer mind — and he even defended Kail after a fan called her out for the way she treated him on Twitter. Watch the video below to see Javi’s response!

It’s so great to see that Javi and Kail have been able to work through their issues, especially because they share four-year-old son Lincoln. The former couple definitely hit a rough patch in their co-parenting relationship when Javi started dating Bri since Bri and Kail did not get along. Bri has said in the past that Kail was “salty” about her relationship with Javi, and they feuded back and forth for months — and they continued to fight with each other on social media after Bri and Javi split up last month.

Kail and Bri’s feud reached a boiling point after Javi made a guest appearance on Kail’s Coffee Convos podcast and Kail basically blamed Bri for the issues in her co-parenting relationship with Javi. But now that Bri and Javi have broken up, things have settled down between Kail and Javi and earlier this month, he revealed that he apologized to his ex-wife for letting his relationship with Bri negatively affect his relationship with Kail, which in turn, negatively affected their son.

“At the end of the day a good relationship with my son’s mother will make Lincoln the happiest. I lost sight of that. This trip made me realize that and I’ve apologized to Kail for my actions,” the 25-year-old wrote on Twitter.
