Our thoughts are with Jamie Otis this holiday season.

The Married at First Sight star, who is married to Doug Hehner, suffered an unfortunate miscarriage back in July — and the little boy, whose name would have been Jonathan, was due on Dec. 20.

It is a day I’ll never forget: July 13th. On this day in 2016, I was 17 weeks, 1 day pregnant. One day later I no longer had my baby growing and bouncing safely inside my belly. My first born child was taken from me to be my angel in heaven. I’ve tried to think of many ways to honor him and keep him near; to show him I think about him daily and I’ll always love him. This necklace is by far the most important piece of jewelry I’ve ever made. It’s dedicated to my sweet boy, Johnathan Edward Hehner. It’s made of 100% genuine Sterling Silver or 16K gold plated brass. It comes on a 17″ sterling silver/16K gold filled chain. Available on etsy. Jamie has been open about sharing her devastating experience with fans, and even shared a controversial photo of her late son after the miscarriage.

“I’ve realized that there are so many women who have experienced a similar loss and feel so isolated from it,” she previously said. “It wasn’t until I blogged [that I realized that] so many women feel the same way as me. It’s taboo to share photos and talk about miscarriage.”

“I really want to desensitize this topic. I want to show [other women who have miscarried] that they aren’t alone, and I want to give them a space where they can share their sweet baby who was taken from the world too early. I hope by me sharing my story and my son, Johnny, it helps women who have gone through similar circumstances or who are going through a loss now.”
