Jamie Foxx may have been an incomparable Ray Charles in the biopic 'Ray,' and he may have lent his voice out to the likes of Kanye West, but last night the actor was called out for butchering the National Anthem.
The anticipation of last night's Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Manny Pacquiao fight in Las Vegas drew in celebrities across music, film and sports.
But despite the presence of such voices as Beyoncé and Mariah Carey in the building, the duty of singing the National Anthem was handed to none other than Mr. Foxx.
The 47-year-old delivered what can only be described as a Boyz II Men-tinged rendition of 'The Star-Spangled Banner' to a slightly confused audience at the sporting event.

And, of course, it took Twitter no time at all to leap onto Jamie and his warbling. Words like 'butchered,' 'destroyed' and 'WTF' were thrown around.

Did anybody catch the name of the song Jamie Foxx was singing?
Many others questioned the choice and whether or not he finished the song with an inexplicable "Hallelujah" (he did, and it was weird).

One user even claimed he was "launching a Kickstarter to pay Jamie Foxx to never sing in public again."
Well, it appears Pacquiao wasn't the only loser in viewers' eyes last night...
