In the early 2000s, fans anxiously awaited One Tree Hill night to catch up with their favorite high school students. In an exclusive interview with In Touch, Bryan Greenberg, who fans remember played Jake on One Tree Hill, revealed that he is still pals with his former co-stars today.

“I talk to James Lafferty, he lives close to us in LA. I’ve talked to Hilarie [Burton], I recently talked to Sophia [Bush] and yeah, you know — we get together every now and then. Everyone’s off doing their thing, living their lives,” he shared via phone in December. Jake and Nathan buddying up around LA together?! We love that.

The actor also weighed in on if he thinks the show could succeed in today’s world. “I don’t know, the only reason I would say yes is because I meet new fans of that show all the time. Like, young people — so it’s still relevant and it’s a whole new generation that it speaks to and I don’t know what it is about that show that had such a far reach,” Bryan explained. “Maybe it spoke to a lot of people who feel disenfranchised and a little on the outskirts, and I feel like everyone thinks they’re on the outskirts of being cool or whatever it is in high school. I think it’s still relevant in a strange way.”

In Touch spoke with Bryan and his wife, Jamie Chung, as they teamed up with Braun to promote their grooming products. “A couple of the boys on [her TV show The Gifted] have clean-shaved faces, and they have to do it every day,” Jamie said. “Blair [Redford] was mentioning — he plays Thunderbird — that whenever he does a really close shave, it really irritates his skin and the only thing that works is Braun. I thought it would be a good idea for Bryan since I’m always trying to get him to clean up.”
