Former Jersey Shore star Jenni Farley is not backing down from her feud with New Jersey governor Chris Christie.
The reality star best known as "J.Woww" has attacked the Garden State governor for his anti-gay marriage stance.
"If you have a problem with two people being in love, and you’re against gay marriage, I have a problem with you," the 27-year-old told the New York Daily News about her ongoing feud with Christie. What happens between two human beings has nothing to do with Chris Christie and does not affect Chris Christie. What does affect me is when my best friend can’t get married in New Jersey, and my best friend’s mother, who is a lesbian, can’t get married."
Last week, Jenni came under fire for calling the NJ politician "retarded." She later took to Twitter to apologize for her choice of words, but maintained her strong feelings against Christie.
Though the governor hasn't yet addressed Jenni's comments, he has blasted Jersey Shore and its stars in the past. He criticized the show for "perpetuating stereotypes" about the state and denied MTV tax breaks for filming there. The Republican governor is popular in New Jersey for his handling of Hurricane Sandy, and there are rumors he may run for president.
Jenni, who grew up on New York's Long Island, made her move to Jersey official two years ago when she bought a house with her fiance Roger Matthews.
