There are few topics in Hollywood as decisive as Scientology. The hot-button religion has a bad reputation for being more of a cult than a faith. Yet, a lot of celebrities are followers of the Church of Scientology, while others like Leah Remini who has a show — Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath — detailing the problems with the religion. Will Smith in particular has sparked rumors about being a possible Scientologist after Leah said that his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith belongs to the religion.

“Jada’s… been in Scientology a long time,” Leah recently revealed, adding that while she never saw Will at the church’s Celebrity Centre in LA, Jada was there “all the time.” She even added that they funded a “Scientology school” in Calabasas, CA, which closed in 2013. But, Jada has vehemently denied the Kevin Can Wait star's accusations.

“I have studied Dianetics, and appreciate the merits of Study Tech,” Jada tweeted previously, referencing the belief-system created by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard, who was the first to publish the ideas which would eventually become the foundation for Scientology practices in 1950. “But I am not a Scientologist.” She continued to explain that even though she's experimented with certain aspects of multiple religions that doesn't mean she practices them regularly. "I have chanted and meditated in some of the most magnificent temples on earth… but I am not a Buddhist," she tweeted. But, what about her husband?

In Leah's 2015 memoir Troublemaker, she recalled an odd experience with Jada, Will, and known Scientologist Tom Cruise. “At first I thought he was joking,” she wrote, recalling that Tom wanted to play a children’s game with the adults including the Will and Jada. “But, no, he literally wanted to play hide-and-seek with a bunch of grown-ups in what was probably close to a 7,000-square-foot house on almost three full acres of secluded land.” That is weird… but merely associating with a Scientologist isn't proof that someone is a Scientologist. We think we're going to take Jada's word on this one!
