They announced their split in January, but since then Hilary Duff and her estranged husband Mike Comrie have seemed closer than ever, prompting speculation they could get back together.
The photogenic pair, who share custody of beautiful two-year-old son Luca, are apparently open-minded about the future of their relationship.
The former Lizzie McGuire star said this week, "'I don't think Mike would ever go anywhere. I mean, we are really dedicated to taking care of Luca, and we're really good friends who spend a lot of time together."
The 26-year-old added, "We're not in a rush for anything, so we're just trying to enjoy our lives and figure out what makes us happy and it's working for us."
Speaking to In Touch Weekly at an ASPCA party this week she said: "'We have Luca as our main priority, but we do care a lot about each other. We're adults and we're making our way through life. Sometimes you do that together and apart and we're gonna be and we're going to do it in the most peaceful way possible."
The couple married in 2010 after three years of dating, and handled their breakup in an admirably mature manner - even taking a vacation together to the Bahamas in February to settle how their new set up would work.
We're rooting for them, whatever happens!
