Sugar Bear May Not Be Honey Boo Boo’s Real Father — and His Wife Wants a DNA Test

In the new episode of Mama June: From Not to Hot, the reality star's heated custody battle with ex Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson takes an unexpected turn when his new wife, Jennifer Lamb, suggests he may not even be Alana's (aka Honey Boo Boo) real father. A clip from the WE tv series, which was first obtained by Radar Online, shows Jennifer expressing doubts over her husband's paternity.

After the couple and June met with a lawyer to discuss visitations with the 12-year-old, Jennifer admits, “I know I will love Mike’s child just like I love mine, but that lawyer said something that just keeps sticking in my mind.” She asked if there's a chance Sugar Bear isn't Honey Boo Boo's biological father and whether a DNA test had ever been administered.

“If it turns out that Alana is not his, June Shannon will be out of my life forever,” Jennifer tells the camera. “And I sure ain’t paying child support for a kid that’s not Mike’s.” She also reveals that Sugar Bear often worked nights when he was with the newly slim 38-year-old, implying that the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo alum could have cheated on him. June's sister-in-law agrees that a DNA test may be for the best. “Four kids, four dads — makes you wonder,” she says.

Ultimately, Jennifer blames June for the situation they're in. "I love Mike with all my heart and he loves Alana with all his heart, but I really think June’s gonna make it impossible for us to love anybody," she confesses.

Shouldn't someone consult Honey Boo Boo about her feelings? The tween recently told In Touch that things are definitely strained between her and her dad. "My current relationship with Sugar Bear is very dull," she said. "He'll call me once a week if I am lucky. My parents getting along right now is not good. They do not get along at all. I feel like they don't co-parent well at all because of Jennifer."

Yikes. Sounds like all three of the adults in this situation could use a parenting intervention.
